The guys preview what they expect to see out of the West Virginia University football team. They also talk about Boo McLee’s arrest, Tavon Austin’s $42 million extension with the Rams, and next week’s game where the Mountaineers take on Missouri.

Joining the guys on the phone this week is former WVU offensive lineman John Thornton, a two-time all-Big East selection with a lengthy career in the NFL playing for the Tennessee Titans and the Cincinnati Bengals. Thornton told the guys stories from his WVU days, as well as what it’s like to be an agent for the next generation of football standouts.

The guys talk about the offseason for the Mountaineers and what the guys hope to see out of WVU this season. They review West Virginia University’s great showing at the Rio Olympics. They also discuss why WVU isn’t doing a better job recruiting in-state football talent.

In our guest segment, former WVU running back and a running backs coach at Glenville State University Quincy Wilson calls into the show to talk to the guys about his time in the NFL and at WVU, including that famous 2003 touchdown against Miami in the Orange Bowl. At the end of the show, Sara Janey with PickInsiders joins the guys to talk about WVU players making things happen in the NFL.
